Wellness Watch - Summer Safety

Summer can be a wonderful season when you make lasting memories with your family and friends. Kids are out of school. Adults often take advantage of vacation time. We’re out and about and on the go. The downside of all that activity is that it can increase the chances of injuries.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 225,000 Americans died due to unintentional injuries in 2021. That’s the fourth leading cause of death.

At Phoebe, we want you to remember each summer for all the right reasons. Dr. Eddie Black has some advice to help keep you safe during the summer.
