Physical Therapy

Physical therapy provides specialized training in functional mobility, balance, endurance, active and passive range of motion and safety practices.

The focus is on:

• Post-op therapy for total hip or knee surgery
• Gait training
• Bed mobility transfers
• Strengthening and therapeutic exercises
• Proper application and use of the prosthetic devices

A patient’s deterioration, caused by inactivity, can usually be alleviated through the rehabilitation services of a qualified physical therapist working in the home.
