“We knew it was a matter of time before coronavirus was confirmed in our community, and we have been preparing for it. We certainly have not reached to peak of this health emergency.  That’s why we are urging people to follow the specific guidelines if they have been asked to self-isolate, and everyone should follow the advice of the experts who say we should avoid crowds and close contact with others,” said Kim Gilman, Phoebe Worth Medical Center Chief Executive Officer.

Anyone who wants to be screened to see if they need to be tested can call the Phoebe Coronavirus Hotline at 229-312-1919.
