Visitation Policy
As we continue to monitor the number of COVID-19 cases in our community, we also continue to adapt our policies and procedures as appropriate.
Visiting Hours: 8 A.M. - 8 P.M.
Inpatient Visitation Guidelines for Non-COVID-19 Patients:
- Two visitors are allowed at a time.
- Due to traffic, we ask visitors to not leave and return to the facility multiple times throughout the day.
- One visitor may stay overnight in a patient’s room.
- All visitors enter and exit through the main hospital entrance.
- Visitors sign in and out at the main entrance.
- All visitors are required to wear a mask in patient care areas or if they are exhibiting the following symptoms. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Fever or chills | Cough | Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing | Fatigue | Muscle or body aches | Headache | New loss of taste or smell | Sore throat | Congestion or runny nose | Nausea or vomiting | Diarrhea
- Visitors may access cafeteria and concession areas, but otherwise should remain in the patient’s room they are visiting.
Visitation Guidelines for COVID-19 Inpatients:
- Each patient will be evaluated by a physician to determine eligibility for visitation. If patient is eligible, the patient’s nurse will contact family to make arrangements.
- Visits must be scheduled with the nurse.
- One designated family member may visit up to 30 minutes. For COVID-19 inpatients, there may be two visits per week. Visits may be in-person or virtual depending on physician evaluation.
- All visitors must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment, which will be provided at visit.
Outpatient Visitation Guidelines:
Patients undergoing a procedure may have two visitors accompany them during their stay.
Emergency Room Visitation:
ER visitation at our Worth facility will allow for one visitor per Non-COVID-19 patient. All patients and visitors in the Emergency Room are required to wear a mask. If you do not have one, one will be provided.
Below exceptions may apply:
- Patients at the end-of-life.
- Minors under age 18 may have two parents or guardians.
Children under 18 still are not allowed to visit except in end-of-life cases.
We appreciate your support and patience as we work to protect our patients, visitors and community. Please know all decisions are made with safety as our top priority and modifications will be made to the visitation policy as appropriate.
