Phoebe Hematology & Oncology of Americus

The Oncology Clinic at Phoebe Sumter offers more reason for hope and healing, bringing state-of-the-art services close to home for those who live in Sumter County and nearby areas.

Our main goal is to offer comprehensive oncology/hematology outpatient care in our service area (made up of an eight-county region). Using the latest technology, we provide screenings, diagnosis and treatments to both adults and children. We also specialize in hematological (blood) disorders.

When a patient comes in (either by a physician's referral or self-referral), an assessment is done. Depending on the patient's diagnosis, the clinic is equipped to give:

• chemotherapy
• blood transfusions
• outpatient injections

In areas from nutrition to counseling, there are services available to help with almost any concern you may have. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask. And remember, no problem is too small or too trivial.

Breast Cancer

Phoebe is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Our facility in Americus is home to some of the most highly-trained and dedicated staff as well as the latest equipment for screening, diagnosing, and treatment.

The Oncology Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
