Bereavement Services at Phoebe Hospice

The death of a loved one brings enormous changes, and everyone grieves in their own individual way. Phoebe Hospice has experience in helping family and friends transition from the disorienting pain of grief to a healthy reinvestment in their lives. Phoebe Hospice provides continuing contact and support for family and friends for at least 13 months following the death of a loved one.

When a family member dies, children react differently from adults. Each year Phoebe Hospice hosts Camp Good Grief. Camp Good Grief is a special camp where children and teens can go to heal, play and meet others who are dealing with a similar loss. Bereavement support for children is available to best meet their developmental needs.

Every year, Phoebe Hospice hosts an Annual Memorial service to honor and remember our loved ones who have died. Look for information about the service in early Spring of each year.

For information about Adult Grief Groups call Anna Hadbavny, Bereavement Coordinator at 229-312-8919.
