About Amitabh Kumar

Dr. Kumar brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of digestive tract and liver conditions.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin he earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, Texas. He also completed a residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and a fellowship at the University of Florida Health Center in Gainesville, Florida.  He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
