About Dr. Arunachalam, MD
Karuppiah, “Karup,” Arunachalam MD, serves patients in our Albany-based cardiology clinic providing both general and invasive cardiology services. Dr. Arunachalam earned his medical degree from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, India. In addition, he completed an internal medicine residency affiliated with Harvard Medical School at Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. MA., and a general cardiology fellowship with North East Ohio Medical Education University at Aultman Hospital, Canton OH. He also did a post doc cardiovascular fellowship with Brown University at the Cardiovascular Research Center, Providence RI.
Dr. Arunachalam is published in academic medical journals and is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and the American Medical Association. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and cardiac CT.
