Deb Angerami

Chief Operating Officer

Before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in October 2022, Deb Angerami spent her entire career in healthcare administration with a large health system in central Florida.  After earning two graduate degrees from the University of Florida, the native of upstate New York began working for Health First, an integrated healthcare delivery network that currently includes four hospitals, a large physician group and more than 9,000 employees.  Over her 22 years at Health First, Deb worked her way up through a variety of leadership positions, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the system’s hospital division.

Deb is a dynamic leader with a passion for patient safety and a track record of quality improvement.  She looks forward to helping Phoebe’s flagship hospital grow services and enhance the experiences of our patients, and she is excited to oversee a major construction project.  The new tower on W. 4th Avenue will include a new Emergency and Trauma Center that will double the size of our current ER.  It will also dramatically enlarge and modernize our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and expand our critical care capacity by about 50%.
