Phoebe Hospice offers inpatient hospice care and respite care at Willson Hospice House. A beautiful hidden treasure built in the woodlands in Northwest Albany, Willson Hospice provides patients a safe and comfortable place for end-of-life care.

The innovative design of this 39,000-square-foot facility welcomes the outdoors in, providing a calm and peaceful setting for patients and family members. The building is inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and features large expanses of glass with views open to the landscape and outlying gardens to give patients a tranquil and quiet environment. There is no other hospice facility of its kind in the state of Georgia.

Willson Hospice House provides:

- Symptom management for patients whose symptoms, such as pain, cannot be managed at home.
- Respite care for families who need a short break from their full-time caregiver role.

The Willson Hospice House also has designated special areas for patients and families to be together, much as they would at their own home, including a kitchen where they cook and eat together, a sunroom, a quiet room, a playroom for children, a family laundry area and two non-denominational chapels.

Outdoor gardens, trellised terraces and walking trails located throughout the campus provide family members with a variety of natural respite settings. Patient rooms have ample natural light and terraces to the outside. Patient rooms include a window-seat bed – for family members visiting 24/7 – and double doors that allow patient beds to be easily moved directly outside to tranquility gardens.
