Michael Busman, MD is a Sports Medicine Specialist in Americus, Ga. with more than 27 years of experience in the medical field.
He earned his doctorate of medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina before going on to complete his family medicine residency in Columbus and a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Columbia, S.C.
In addition to being actively involved in the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP), including currently being on the board of directors, Dr. Busman is also actively involved in the Medical Association of Georgia, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He serves on multiple boards and committees throughout the community as well as for Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.
