On day one, our new residents are introduced to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and the City of Albany. Local leaders and hospital staff host "Media Day," a special ceremonial day welcoming residents with open arms. From that day forward, they are considered members of the Phoebe family. They play an integral role in a residency program that has a national reputation as an outstanding training ground for family medicine physicians.
