The HALO® Bassinest®
The HALO® Bassinest® swivel sleeper safely keeps mom and baby closer than ever before, enabling the closeness a mother desires most in the first moments with her child. It promotes “skin to skin” bonding and breastfeeding, as well as provides baby a safe sleep environment & starts safe sleep practices for parents. The HALO Bassinest is the ideal bassinet to ensure a safe, comfortable & enjoyable experience for families.

BiPap Machine
A BiPap machine is a non-invasive ventilator that pushes air into a patient’s lungs, through a make or nasal plugs, if they are having trouble breathing. It is called “positive pressure ventilation” because the device helps open the lungs with air pressure.

e-ICU Equipment
Phoebe Sumter Medical Center is partnering with Hicuity Health to enhance our intensive care. This telehealth collaboration with our onsite bedside ICU teams will ensure our patients continuously receive the highest quality expert critical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With this new service, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center will be able to best address immediate patient concerns, reduce length of stay, and potentially reduce transfers to different facilities.

Local Artist Murals in Emergency Center Overflow and Multidisciplinary Rooms
Studies proved viewing art increases dopamine in the brain which reduces stress, and for some, reduces anxiety and depression. Phoebe Sumter Medical Center patients have noted that during their time of crisis, the previous treatment space intensifies their feelings of stress and disconnection. Our hope is the addition of murals will help patients feel safe and peaceful in a more therapeutic setting.

New Entrance Digital Signs
Phoebe Sumter Foundation is supporting Phoebe Sumter with ensuring we provide information to our visitors. To assist with this goal, we are replacing the entrance digital marquees that are utilized for community education and information about hospital services.
